CREATED ALL THE POSTERS AND PROMOS FOR SPECIAL EVENTS. 1978 - CREATED THE "WALKING EAGLE" COMIC BOOK SERIES AND OTHER BOOKS (NEVER PUBLISHED). 1979 - ENLISTED IN THE UNITED STATES AIR FORCE. 1980 - STATIONED IN THE AZORES (9 TINY ISLANDS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ATLANTIC, OWNED BY PORTUGAL) AT LAJES AFB ON TERCEIRA ISLAND. WORKED FOR THE AIR FORCE NEWSPAPER, "CROSSROADS" AND CREATED THE COMIC STRIP, "AIRMAN ROCK RAT" WHICH DELIVERED PUBLIC SERVICE MESSAGES TO THE TROOPS. ALSO, PROVIDED SPOT ILLUSTRATIONS FOR ARTICLES. THE STRIP WAS VERY SUCCESSFUL, AND ONLY A FEW SAMPLES EXIST TODAY. DURING THIS TIME, I ALSO DID A SMALL STINT IN WASHINGTON DC. I WAS EDITOR OF THE NEWSLETTER, "CRACKERS & CRUMBS" AT MALCOLM GROW MEDICAL CENTER IN MARYLAND AT ANDREWS AFB. 1981 - MOVED TO ALAMOGORDO, NM. 1982 - WORKING AT "MORRIS MACHINE SHOP", GOT PUBLISHED IN "DRAGWORLD" MAGAZINE. 1983 - HIRED BY "A BIRD IN HAND" PAWN & FURNITURE STORE TO DO AN ADVERTISING COMIC STRIP, WHICH WAS PUBLISHED WEEKLY IN "THE THRIFTY NICKEL," WORKING AT "ZACO CONSTRUCTION" CABINET SHOP, WAS PROMOTED TO DOING CUSTOM JOBS AND WOOD CARVER.
